en MI opinión, cuando se habla de nominaciones al Grammy para BTS, es lo más real que espero. BTS hizo algo diferente. Hoy en día mucha música suena igual, y eso no es ningún secreto. Ellos se arriesgaron con lo experimental, probaron nuevos sonidos, mezclaron géneros musicales y apostaron por la nostalgia, retomando conceptos de años atrás pero dándoles un giro actual. BTS reinterpretó la identidad folclórica de Corea a través del pop moderno y el hip-hop, tomando como referencia Arirang e incorporando temas de añoranza y reencuentro. No fue solo una decisión estética, sino cultural que transformaron un símbolo tradicional en algo global y vigente. Además, “Arirang” no solo destaca por su sonido, sino por su intención. Es un álbum con coherencia conceptual, donde todo gira en torno a la memoria, la identidad y la pertenencia. Logra equilibrar lo comercial con lo artístico y aporta una narrativa emocional real, no solo canciones pegajosas. A esto se suma su impacto, el álbum rompió récords de reproducciones y ventas en múltiples plataformas, debutó en lo más alto de charts importantes y tuvo una recepción pública y crítica muy positiva a nivel global. No fue solo un éxito comercial, sino también un proyecto reconocido por su propuesta y ejecución. Fue una propuesta audaz que rompe con la fórmula segura del pop actual, y desde la perspectiva de alguien que escucha todo tipo de música, el resultado fue simplemente espectacular!!!

The last two albums that won aoty at the grammys were albums that explored identity, the artists roots, Pride of said roots. Arirang would be the perfect contender for this year!
