The study ignores the fact people living with Long Covid eventually just give up on the medical system, so their long term outcomes won't feasibly be tracked with medical records. It's clear the authors, reviewers, and editors haven't talked to people living with the disease.

The price of oil has fallen so dramatically since the election last week, it is now cheaper than it was before Russia invaded Ukraine. Price stayed high right up until literally the day when it wasn’t politically helpful anymore and now it’s plummeting.

There are so many targets for anger that my ADD brain can’t pick one for more than a moment. Mostly sad for the long covid victims who could have been spared and who will struggle for support. Hopeful that the sheer numbers will drive research to benefit all post-viral illnesses.
