I got the chance to hang out with Robert Rodriguez (@Rodriguez) at the Troublemaker Studios here in Austin, Texas, where he has created a lot of legendary films over the years. Robert is one of the most inspiring & creative humans I've ever met. He's always beaming with ideas and energy, constantly pushing to get things done no matter the setbacks, constraints, uncertainty, etc in filmmaking and in life. My podcast conversation with him & getting to hang out with him (and watch him edit) was truly an honor for me. The guitar cases I have in the photo btw are from Desperado (from 30 years ago). I'm excited to see what action films he creates with Brass Knuckle Films. I'll be hanging around a bunch to help out wherever I'm useful, and just watch the creative process unfold. Soooo proud to have created this stained glass visual for Zedd’s Coachella show with my incredible wife @chelseaevenstar!! Chelsea spent weeks coming up with this mind-bendingly detailed and beautiful stained glass design, drawn by hand in Procreate, followed by a painstaking process to vectorize the art and bring it into 3D, then cleanup and many days of just texturing each little piece of glass by hand (mostly Chelsea again!) Finally, I went in and knocked out the animation within the last five days before the show using the @rendernetwork so I could kick out 9K renders rapidly! There’s absolutely no way we could’ve pulled this off in time without Render ❤️‍🔥 There's nothing better in the world than having such a talented artistic genius wife to collaborate with. I love you Chelsea!! We make some crazy magic together 😍🔥💗
