After two days of talks in Stockholm that ended without the announcement of a new truce, I asked @USTradeRep what the biggest concession is China’s made in trade talks so far. “Well, I would say they blocked all of their rare earth magnets, and now we're getting them,” he said.

I’m genuinely perplexed how any self-proclaimed “China Hawk” can claim that President Trump’s AI deals with UAE and Saudi Arabia aren’t hugely beneficial for the United States. As leading semiconductor analyst Dylan Patel observed, these deals “will noticeably shift the balance of power” in America’s favor. The only question you need to ask is: does China wish it had made these deals? Yes of course it does. But President Trump got there first and beat them to the punch.





NEWS— Trump is expected to host Sheikh Tahnoon for dinner tonight at the White House, sources tell me. The UAE’s national security adviser and brother of the nation’s president is slated to speak to Trump about a range of issues, such as investments, technology & energy.
