Sorry to say that the new UKRI policy allowing a range of OA licences for 'long-form' publication still does not apply to journal articles. You have to apply for an 'exemption' in order to publish a journal article funded by UKRI under a 'non-derivative' licence. (1/)

Which isn’t to say that it’s not better to intervene and promote stability (it is in the short run). But the justification for high profits, salaries, and bonuses is undermined when the confidence key to banking is a product not of the sector but the taxpayer-funded state.
