The first time I was invited to an anime con I met someone who told me they were hosting a Lolita panel and I went "oh wow gross" so they explained to me that loli anime and lolita culture are different and I was like "honestly maybe you guys are the ones who need to rebrand"

I feel like a lot of people aren’t taking note of the fact that Robert is never exactly portrayed as an exemplar of good parenting (grandparenting?), and his disciplinarian tendencies are explicitly demonstrated IN THE VERY NEXT SCENE to be fucking worthless.

There was a recognition that some people would be too dimwitted to understand that global warming doesn’t mean “always warmer” weather.

Predominant amount of the English speaking parts of the internet is the US, who are prudish about unrestrained libido. To say Visual Novels are only sexual would be wrong, but to state that the medium is not deeply intertwined with Eroge is also wrong.

I understand the symbolism in the Xi's faceplate breaking off but like the very second Gundam series ever already established a precedent for Gundams not having a "Gundamface" so it's both rendered kind of moot and is an aesthetic downgrade
