I missed the news that apparently last year Amazon announced the next James Bond film would be written by the creator of the “House of Guinness” series. That’s cool—my daughter got us to watch it and so far, it’s good. Now comes word that one of its stars, Louis Partridge, is in the running to play Bond. He’s 23. That would make him by far the youngest Bond ever. I don’t know. I like him as an actor. He’s good. But a 23-year-old Bond? Dang.
