Trump's Iran "plan" has essentially deteriorated into adopting the Israeli strategy of mowing the lawn. An agreement appears to have been reached with Israel that the US and Israel will continue to bomb Iran for another 2-3 weeks, and after that, they will declare the war over without an agreement on the Straits of Hormuz. Note that Lindsey Graham has called for the war to end in 2-3 weeks and that Netanyahu has stated that oran no longer constitutes an existential threat.
