Stopped for a quick coffee in Downtown #ldnont Doing some work while sitting on the @FanshaweCollege restaurant patio on Dundas Street - soaking up some sunshine and live music that’s being played in Market Lane. Great to be back!!

No parking minimums for non-residential land uses! Some really innovative, gutsy and meaningful moves being made at the @cityofkingston Canada. They’re showing lots of planning and climate leadership on Canada’s mid-sized city landscape.

BREAKING: Tonight the City of Kingston, Canada became one of the first medium/smaller cities that I’m aware of to get rid of PARKING MINIMUMS for all non-residential land uses, affordable housing & heritage projects city-wide, plus establish new parking MAXIMUMS across the city!

When in Germany, stop by the most remarkable former industrial-site turned park.
It's hard to capture how amazing Landschaftspark is. It's a former coal/steel mill that has been turned into a park where you can climb and explore the old industrial buildings/equipment.

@DruhFarrell Wow! I knew small engine motors were bad from an emissions perspective, but this is startling. Seems like a great place for companies like Home Depot to be showing their climate commitment and offer a deep trade-in discount for a new electric version. Possible win-win?

A BIG thank you goes out to @RBCPlaceLondon & @LondonFoodBank1 who provided 3 meals a day for 90 consecutive days for the #LdnOnt'ers at the City's winter response program. Large meals were prepped by @RBCPlaceLondon then cooked onsite & served family-style this year.

A large part of the Campus' surface is dedicated to parking for cars. Just imagine how beautiful and vibrant Western's Campus could be if you could transform some of these surfaces to new buildings, parks, outdoor spaces! @jmfplan
