The 30k casualties figure regarding Iran earlier this year had no evidence. That’s why it became 40,000, 50,000…90,000.
The most reputable international news agencies said it was circa 3000 people plus. Already appalling. Worse than Tiananmen Square. It could be higher but I’ve seen no authoritative sources attesting to that.
The huge numbers put out there weren’t an accident though. It was priming an international audience for what is now beginning: the death of tens, and possibly then hundreds of thousands, in Iran as a regional war lets rip.
One of the great exercises in manufacturing consent of our time.

So, let me get this straight. The goals of the war in Iran have shifted from changing the regime, which is still in place, decimating the nuclear program, which was allegedly already decimated last June, and obliterating Iran's missile production, which is still firing missiles every day, to merely opening the Strait of Hormuz, which was open before this war the US chose to get involved in on behalf of Israel. Winning.

She didn’t even bother to hide it:
US advisors planted inside 12 Ukrainian ministries, American-trained cops operating in 18 cities, the US Treasury wiping out 60 Ukrainian banks while conveniently protecting depositors, and $266 million pumped into training Ukrainian troops.
