I HATE Elden Ring. And no, it's not because the game is "hard" or "doesn't hold your hand." It is the fact that the entire game has ripped off another franchise. Frankly, I'm surprised nobody else ever noticed. It's so obvious and blatant. I can't be the only one to notice.
The entire game is basically ripped off from my favourite video game series Dark Souls.

In my opinion self depreciation, even in jest, is a cheap and disingenuous placeholder for genuine humility. It's one of the behaviors I'm currently working on eliminating from myself and I would encourage others who are in the habit of putting themselves down to do some self reflection on the subject.

@aaliyahvtuber_ Heavily depends on what I'd be doing to make the $4,000. That's more than I make right now, but I've turned down higher pay at a workplace that was draining my energy for my current job that pays less but still pays the bills and affords an extreme amount of mental reassurance.

This is called "the burden of knowledge" and is very common among the skilled and those who are knowledgable in their field. Always have friends outside your field to regain that right perspective of your accomplishments. Be proud of how far you've come. Don't fixate on mistakes.

u probably have imposter syndrome about your skillset because you’ve actually become so skilled at what you do that it now reads as “normal”, so you think it’s normal to everyone else too. ur actually really cool & talented. not everyone can do what you do or knows what you know.

I've said Frieren doesnt appeal to me of the pacing, but now I also think its bc recovery is meant to quietly transform common reality into a novel experience that restores joy to the soul, the opposite of the stimulation Im addicted to

Anyways, here’s a quote from Tolkien about the role of fairy-stories that I think applies greatly to Frieren. I think the story is popular because it works as a “recovery” for many people in a time were, especially in the west, a lot of the simple joy of creating stories seems to have become lost in corporatism and cynicism. Frieren opens people’s eyes to the beauty of simplicity and has a timeless nature of a classic good story.

I’ve recently run into the issue of a few people making AI generated art of me or editing art of me with AI. I find this completely disrespectful to me & the artists who work hard on the pieces I get from them.
Please do not AI generate me or edit artwork of me with AI.
AI “art” isn’t something I personally agree with & don’t wish for my character to be fed into it. Also respect artists & don’t feed their stuff into AI without their permission.
