@jodyjsperling It can. Not every therapist works for every patient, though. You have to find a good match.

I guess I wonder if therapy actually helps. Does it?

@DNicholsAuthor As a retired English teacher, I believe that everyone can be trained to write better. However, the imagination and drive required for great writing require a basic amount of innate skill on which to build.

Do you ever read multiple books at once?

@jodyjsperling Very. Which means that voting requires extra prayers for wisdom—since I think all politicians lie.

How important is truth to you?

@PSLiterary It depends on whether or not I open my mouth to speak. Should the topic of social justice arise, he would harshly and vigorously oppose me.

You're stuck in a room with the villain of your current read. How much trouble are you in?

@jodyjsperling Absolutely! That’s one reason I miss teaching. My students taught me a lot.

Do you believe you can learn from people who are younger than you?

@PSLiterary I use a bookmark. But in the spur of the moment, almost anything can serve: the book jacket, a receipt (or bill), a pen, my husband’s comb, a paper napkin (serviette), an old envelope… Once in a while, I locate an actual bookmark.

How do you keep your place in a book? Bookmark, sticky tab, dogear? Do you memorize the page number?
