Does hip hop have a “Sweet Caroline”????

What really pisses me off about all of this anti-sex discourse coming from Gen Z is that Millennials and Gen X FOUGHT for the sex positivity movement for decades in our youth and we made real strides in that area... All for Gen Z to throw it all away bc they're too dumb

When I listen to Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… by Raekwon, I hear a gritty, cinematic journey through the drug game that feels both raw and detailed from start to finish. I really enjoy how the album builds its world through vivid storytelling, intense lyricism, and those signature Wu-Tang beats that mix soulful samples with rugged, sometimes cinematic elements. Tracks like “Criminology,” “Knowledge God,” and “Ice Cream” stand out to me because of the chemistry between Raekwon and Ghostface, along with the sharp metaphors and memorable production. I also appreciate how songs like “Heaven & Hell” and “North Star” bring a deeper, more reflective and emotional layer, showing growth beyond just street narratives. That said, I do notice that some flows and subject matter can feel repetitive as the album goes on, especially in the middle stretch, which slightly takes away from the overall impact for me. Still, the strength of the lyricism, the atmosphere, and the standout moments make this project feel like a classic that I can revisit, especially for its storytelling and immersive vibe.
