I would like to thank to everyone who was supportive and cooperative throughout my journey with @dmtopcat! It was a truly challenging road and I'm happy that we are here with published art. 🥹 In my opinion our artist made a great design and I think we cooked out the best from the small funds I had. Hope so you find some new pfp among this 22k items. 🙂

Some retrospective info about @dmtopcat. Back at the beginning of the year experimenting with DMT (digital matter theory) the dmt-opcat was deployed on BTC. There were no plans for the art, project nothing. Regardless people minted it out, even though it is a big collection (22176). Being motivated by the community decided to create UNAT, art for them, even though having no experience, nor team and very low funds to make it. Having all these aspects it was a quite challenging and truly hard to get here. I think the art became quite quality one, however trait wise I could realize it only in a randomized way (collection size/trait count/funds were not in the best ratio). As it is generated randomly (beside of the 1/1s) the script is not on chain, so it is deviating a bit from other DMT based projects. I hope the community will like the art and resonate with it. This is all what I could give to the project and to the community and currently I don't see any chance to do further actions/milestones. Have a great day!

After yesterdays bright news that we're close to the reveal I found one aspect what missed my attention. See the post below why. I'll work further, even I'm a bit down with the energy, motivation and funds, but will look to design some new backgrounds from ground up to have more variations and a bit different styles. Will keep you updated.

Been working on this for a while, still some steps left but ain't so far away from the reveal. I know I wasn't active too much recently, it was a quite challenging time for me over the past several months and still it is. Working on the @dmtopcat just from a heart and on self cost, without any experience, outside of a comfort zone for months wasn't easy stuff to handle. Hopefully once the collection is approved and the reveal takes place on ME our holder will like what we cooked...

@thaytrader @dmtopcat Won't be reveal them before the art is published. They won't be neither block data based, but random.

@dmtopcat Hopefully your trait rarity doesn't follow previous dmt projects. It's obvious quad or more of the same digit number is more rare which takes out the fun of chasing rarities thus no one are buying the floors right now.

Minor updates: Trait names ready, script is close to the completion too. Next step is to generate them all and review each before the publishing.

@amazonelope @dmtopcat Just replied in DC too. Probably Genii as it is is not sufficient. Holders list would be interesting for me too, however probably will do it only once all arts are published. ME is also not showing I guess...

@jucsaba @dmtopcat Like I say, the hardest thing is just scraping the data of the top holders since I’ve been trying to do this for over a week now and I’m well-versed with everything except for that one site Geniidata /which ironically looks like they only say that I can use to scrape the data

Saw few generated @dmtopcat regulars. I really like the art quality and the overall ambient of the design. Hope so our holders will wake up soon too, as they currently 💤... Any opcat whales, holders around?!

IMO there are many aspects too. Infra needs a lot to improve, and probably people need to change too, which could come with younger generations. For all, time is needed... Probably the coolest will be if all will be hidden from the user and protected by face ID or similar authentications, where in some way (again) not the end user is responsible for the custody.

@jucsaba I agree wholeheartedly. The steps to address this? Not sure. It's an infrastructure issue in part, and in other ways it's a simplification problem as well. Messaging. I think about this a lot.

Have you ever tried to onboard someone to ordinals? Did few times and it is not simple even with highly qualified people. Off chain and non crypto people will unlikely spend too much time researching, creating wallets and waiting for multiple transcactions for a long time. These aspects are slowing down heavily the adoption. Ordinals IMO are more giving historical vibes rather than wide scale adoption and trading.
