@drmichaellevin We're working on this for @InkpadNotes. If you don't find something that already does this, I can let you know once we've added slideshows. Our philosophy is that a unit of content should be able to appear in multiple places, and update everywhere when changed.

@Chris_Said The best studies I've seen only go out to about 20 days of caffeine use, and showed significant reduction in ergogenic effect already after a few days of caffeine use, so even a dose schedule study that is less than 1 month long would probably show something useful.

@jupiterunknown That’s interesting. It might not be the easiest RCT since it would require long term follow-up and a high n due to low compliance. Would also be good for any other conditions where adaptation is a concern.

Question for an upcoming blog post: What is an example of a very basic and impactful medical question that could be easily answered with an RCT, but no such RCT has been done?

@Chris_Said Also, most studies only look at the immediate effect of caffeine. Would like to see studies that look at e.g. effect on productivity not just in the hour of peak effect, but full-day/week/month.

@Chris_Said Effect of regular long term caffeine consumption on productivity/whatever. We need studies showing the effect (if any) after maximum tolerance is reached, which is how most people consume it. Also, studies to determine optimal dosing schedules (e.g. every other day).
