It is interesting to note, that many people think that an Entity “puppeteers” every aspect of this dimension. This Reality is not a miniature model town. It is the physical expression of Codes we cannot see. A Program.

@YusufMosobalaje We’re now on the same wavelength. These indicators still tell us that even if reserves/economy improves, the government is still not doing enough and poverty is increasing. E.g. on insecurity, no point of a “good” economy without safety of lives and property.

@justimpulse1 The point is that you cannot dismiss reserve growth simply because government spending or other challenges exist.A serious analysis looks at both the quality of the reserves and the broader macroeconomic indicators, not one in isolation.

I’m sorry but your statement is blatantly false. Economists do not even separate reserves from government spending when they want to assess a country. The real issue is whether reserve growth is sustainable and what is driving it, not simply whether reserves have increased.
M. A. Y incredible@YusufMosobalaje

@justimpulse1 @utdjoeb @Anyetye1 @FinPlanKaluAja1 What exactly does that have to do with the growth of foreign reserves? If you want to criticize government spending, that's a separate discussion. But don't mix up concerns about luxury or corruption with a discussion about FX reserves and macroeconomic stability.

Mr Bayo Onanuga @aonanuga1956, you have called Peter Obi's @PeterObi resignation call "childish" and "anti-democratic", built solely on the fact that Nigeria runs a presidential, not parliamentary, system. But that argument cannot be applied selectively. In 2014, as insecurity under President Goodluck Jonathan @GEJonathan worsened, particularly following the Chibok abductions, then-opposition leader Bola Tinubu @officialABAT was among the prominent voices who publicly called on President Jonathan to take responsibility for the security failures of his administration, including suggestions that he should consider resigning or, at a minimum, step aside on security grounds. Nigeria was a presidential system then too. The constitutional structure has not changed since 2014. So the question to you is simple: was Asiwaju Tinubu's position in 2014 also "childish" and "anti-democratic" by the same standard you are applying to Obi today, or does the rule only apply when the President in office is not your principal? Consistency is the first test of credibility in public communication, and this statement fails it. Beyond the rhetorical contest, the public deserves a Presidency that engages directly with the substance of insecurity, the cost of living, and governance gaps, rather than spending official communication attacking the messenger's right to speak. President Tinubu's office should be less concerned with policing who is "allowed" to criticise him and more focused on demonstrating, through verifiable, dated, audited figures, that the conditions under which ordinary Nigerians live are genuinely improving. The tone of this statement reads as triumphalist rather than accountable, more focused on basking in recent electoral wins than addressing the lived hardship driving public frustration. Holding office is not the same as governing well, and dismissing critics as "childish" does not substitute for delivering verifiable results that Nigerians can independently confirm.

My neighbor was kidnapped on his way to Abuja. He was shot in both legs and left to suffer without treatment for four days. His family desperately raised the ransom, hoping to save his life, but by the time he was released and taken to the hospital, it was too late. He died shortly after receiving treatment. How long are Nigerians supposed to keep living like this? We are being kidnapped, tortured. Every single day Innocent people are dying, families are being destroyed. How many more graves must be dug before those in authority wake up and do their damn jobs?

In my Estate for example, My Dirts are properly packed and PSP/Lawma picks our dirt (every other 2/3 weeks. In fact, CDAs make it compulsory that all households/ buildings must have a properly bagged waste. They issue out fines for erring houses when the landlord association meets.

@justimpulse1 You just said something factual. Which I completely agree with and I have also spoken about it. That said, does that erode responsibility by citizens to not fill flood drains with dirt?. Not litter the environment?. Again, can two truths not co-exist?.

"If Tinubu cannot fix Nigeria… he should resign." Ikye Okwuakwu has criticised delays in repatriating Nigerians stranded in South Africa, saying many lack housing and support, and that the consul general’s praise of President Tinubu is not good enough.

It’s only a matter of time. Let’s keep supporting bad governance.

@youngskales These are Nigerians fleeing their homes, yet it doesn’t seem to bother you because you can sleep at night. Nobody is asking you to vote or support any candidate, but please keep unhelpful opinions to yourself while we mobilise Nigerians to go out, vote, and protect their votes.
