सन् 1990 तक खालिस्तानी आंदोलन काफी उग्र था, उसी समय पंजाब के अलगाववादी नेता “सिमरनजीत सिंह मान” लम्बी तलवार धारण किए प्रधानमंत्री चंद्रशेखर से मिलने पहुँच गए। सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने उन्हें रोक लिया कि, ऐसा प्राणघातक शस्त्र लेकर प्रधानमंत्री से नहीं मिल सकते। श्रध्देय चन्द्रशेखर तक बात पहुँची तो उन्होंने मान को तलवार के साथ ही आने की इजाजत दे दी। जिस सुरक्षा अधिकारी पर चन्द्रशेखर की निजी सुरक्षा की जिम्मेवारी थी, उसने सावधानीवश दरवाजा अधखुला रहने दिया, जिससे वह मान व उनकी तलवार पर नजर रख सके। उसने प्रधानमंत्री व मान के बीच की वार्ता सुनी और देखा कि चन्द्रशेखर के सामने पहुँचकर मान ने आधी तलवार खींची और बोले : "यह पुरखों से मेरे पास है और बहुत घातक है।" इस पर चंद्रशेखर ने मुँहतोड़ जवाब दिया, उन्होंने मान से कहा “इसे म्यान में रख लो” - मेरे पुरखों के घर बलिया में इससे बड़ी तलवार मौजूद है जो इससे ज्यादा संहारक है। इतनी सी बात ने मान और उनकी तलवार दोनों को ठिकाने लगा दिया। :- रशीद किदवई की किताब "भारत के प्रधानमंत्री" से साभार #चंद्रशेखर जी

Sikhs are not Hindus, as confirmed by Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Dasam Granth Sahib Ji. Yes, those who have a problem with their separate identity as Sikhs, those like you who have neither Kesh nor any Sikh Mariyada, can call themselves Hindus, because you aren't Sikhs.

Some people question my X Bio description written as Hindu Sikh; I have only this to say on this, Sikhs are Hindus first. Both the verses that you quote predate Sikhi.
One by Bhagat Kabir and other by Bhagat Namdev.
Their intent is on adambar amongst bammans and mullas of Karamkand.
If Gurus wanted to mean what you say, they needn't have quoted these Bhagats. Instead they would have said it themselves.
Gurus were way ahead and they knew that people like you will instead of correcting the adambar, think that call yourself a Sikh and all problems are cured. That's not the solution, so to make that clear that they are not referring to Sikhi, they quoted the Bhagats who said the same long before.
KHOJ shabad mein laye... Young man.

Hindus of Punjab donated the gold in 1962. $ikhs never carried gold. Total ~1500kg donated nationwide, 252kg came from Punjabi Hindus, rest from Hindus of other states. No Gurdwara mentioned, only Mandir & Ashram. Aabhushan as mentioned is the jewellery of a married Hindu women donated to the country. Hindus love their motherland. $ikhs as similar to their Gu*us, are bhagorey, only weed, zero contribution, only g@dd@ri.

5th guru while explaining his verse didn't take away the credit from Bhagat Kabir but That is the difference between copy paste job and having real knowledge. Most of the Sikh today are following propaganda narrative and new karmkand started by the panth so the verses of Kabir, Namdeo, Nanak etc hold true for them too.
Don't distort the bani.

Read the complete shabad, last line "keh kabir e kiya bakhana"
In the begining he refers to the wrong way Hindus & Muslims are trying to achieve God.
That right way is not by calling urself sikh.
Was kabir ji saying na hum hindu na musalman, we r sikh?
Or he was saying that Hindus and Muslims should leave the wrong understanding of achieving God thru haj kaaba roza, teerth, vrat?
