Il devrait surtout mettre en avant des figures majeures telles que Mamadou Dia, André Guilbert, et Valdiodio Ndiaye, en restituant toute la complexité de leurs engagements, de leurs visions et des affrontements idéologiques qui ont marqué cette époque.
