Never put your financial security in the hands of another. I see situations like this so often because people get dependent on whatever lifestyle they are getting by being associated with someone but reliance and dependence is giving up too much of your power which can easily be abused in the wrong hands. Be your own provider and get with people based on want and not necessity.
