A woman caused a major disturbance on AirAsia flight D7809 from Chongqing to Kuala Lumpur on April 22. The woman claimed to be a China Southern Airlines flight attendant during the argument. China Southern has announced she has no connection with the airline.

@kay_viktor @shanghaidaily Probably why she didn’t post in weibo. Douyin is basically harmless. The comments there are useless barking. Chinese Nationals in the plane didn’t agree with her. China Authorities agreed to offload her from the aircraft. Imagine her posting in weibo where officials controls.

@kay_viktor @shanghaidaily Thing is, you’re talking about Douyin. Its China’s Tik Tok. The comments there are passing comments. Thousands comments in Douyin means nothing compared to Rednote and Weibo. The platform Rednote is already targetting that lady. If its on Weibo, then we know the real drill.

In this video uploaded to Xiaohongshu (RedNote) on Apr 23, another eyewitness (the man in right pic) on AirAsia’s D7809 🇨🇳 Chongqing to 🇲🇾 Kuala Lumpur flight on Apr 22 explains what happened … He’s a Chinese national and long story short, he feels ashamed of his compatriot’s extremely bad and unreasonable behaviors… he’s supposed to transit at KL and then fly on to Maldives that day, but due to the significant delay he couldn’t make it there. He said he did a one-day tour in KL. The video was apparently uploaded in Chongqing; so presumably he flew back to China… 倒霉, as he said.

The AA ground staff is Mainland Chinese, the passenger beside her was a Mainland Chinese, the police authority too. So when all these people start talking, even douyin netizen won’t back her.

@miyaowmiyaow @shanghaidaily No such clip circulating yet, I don't believe the cops are allowed to post body cams footage online in China, they usually just issue an official statement instead. That hasn't happened yet. Its turned into blaming and insulting the Malaysians now, not pretty
