The process is done in 2-3 hour increments because it’s intense, and she numbs up with cream to handle the pain. Back when she started tattooing, visible ink could get you fired. Now everyone has tattoos and it’s “kind of boring,” so she’s going the opposite direction — and catching a lot of confused (and negative) reactions online. She says people need to trust the process… it’ll look good in the end. As of 2026, Kat is nearing completion of her full blackout bodysuit and has shared updates saying the transformation feels like a clean slate.
