Purposely making himself look prettier because, after being feared his whole life, he’s deemed his original appearance unapproachable and scary (even though that is INCORRECT and just his brain talking nonsense)

I like to think that Xiao has greatly altered his appearance like hiding scars, markings injuries his old master gave him, cutting his talons short & wearing gloves 24/7 so he doesn’t have to look at them Just so people don’t ask questions & so he can forget the past 🫠
