HUGE ‼️ San Francisco's immigration Court on Montgomery Street just permanently closed Judges at this immigration court were approving asylum cases at 4x the national average The Department of Justice fired at least 20 of the 22 immigration judges Courthouse, now it’s closing for good There are currently 120,000+ pending immigration cases in San Francisco 100% of cases should be denied. No more asylum, America is beyond full

My friend tried to get a good photo of me with Lady Liberty, but I may have worn the wrong dress for a ferry ride photo shoot. Anyway, it was thrilling to speed by on the way to Ellis Island tonight!

Carl Demaio deserves enormous credit for getting the voter ID initiative on the California ballot. He was relentless. He was focused for a very long time. We all must now support this initiative to pass voter ID in America’s largest state. This is an incredible moment for not just California, but for America. We need national money for this initiative. Changing California changes Washington, DC.

CA Dems have finally made it official: they want non-citizens voting in our elections. A new measure in LA would allow the city to extend voting rights to non-citizens. This should come as no shock, but here's how we can fight back - WATCH: youtube.com/watch?v=EMZkf6…

Just so we are ALL CLEAR on what happened today... Educators and school administrators single-handedly CANCELLED SCHOOL for 700,000 North Carolina students... ...INCLUDING MY SON!!! To wave signs around in the street instead. The signs vary from: a) F**K ICE!!! b) Defeat Trump's Agenda c) Trump is a N*ZI d) ICE OUT!!! e) Protect trans kids f) Refuse fascism g) Stop bombing schools DO NOT TELL ME THIS WAS ABOUT KIDS. IT NEVER WAS. This was ADULTS using 700,000 children, INCLUDING MINE, as political leverage against a president they don't like. That is despicable. You know better... DO BETTER.

A Steve Hilton testimonial. Spread the word. I’ve lived in California, off and on, since 1993. The Air Force sent me here first on an assignment to Travis AFB and I’ve settled down here since. I’m a transplanted Southerner. I love the state, hate the politics. It’s that simple. Then, I had an opportunity to spend some time with @SteveHilton on a few occasions. We’ve had a couple meals together. I’ve gotten to know him. I’m impressed, not only with his intelligence and his grasp on literally everything that affects California but, equally importantly, he’s a great guy. There’s not a single issue you can challenge him on that he won’t have an airtight, conservative plan for. I dare you to find one. He’s the answer for my state. The governor we need! The only answer. He’s bright, he’s prepared, and he’s hilariously funny. He’s 100% real. What you see with Steve, is what you get. And he’s exactly who we need. I wholeheartedly endorse Steve for Governor of California! @SteveHiltonx @TeamSteveHilton

🚨 BREAKING: A 3-layer atomic “sandwich” just pushed superconductivity beyond its supposed limit. No exotic elements. No extreme conditions. Just structure. What they built • Graphene (top) • Gallium (ultra-thin middle layer) • Silicon carbide (bottom) This creates a confined 2D system where electron behavior changes. What they discovered This stack forms an Ising superconductor that survives magnetic fields: Up to 3× stronger than the Pauli limit That limit is normally where superconductivity breaks down. Here, it doesn’t. What’s actually happening Normally: • Magnetic fields flip electron spins • Cooper pairs break • Superconductivity collapses In this system: • Electrons are quantum confined • Interfaces drive orbital hybridization • Spins become locked (Ising pairing) So under strong in-plane magnetic fields: • Spins don’t flip • Pairs don’t break • Superconductivity remains stable Why this matters This is not just a material improvement. It shows that: Interfaces can override expected physical limits We are not just selecting materials anymore. We are shaping how they behave. Implications • Magnetic-field-resistant superconductors • More stable quantum systems • Potential pathways to topological states (e.g. Majorana modes) Final thought This result fits within quantum mechanics. But it highlights something deeper: Structure and boundary conditions can dominate outcomes That is where a lot of future physics and engineering will happen. Follow me I track where physics becomes structure, not substance.

This deserves more attention, because it’s a really cool @Starlink use case. They’re using collars on cattle that connect to Starlink satellites in space, allowing ranchers to create and adjust a “virtual fence” in real time right from their phone in the middle of nowhere. You don't need to be close to a radio tower anymore. Literally no-one has done this before.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

Halter announced today the launch of direct-to-satellite connectivity using SpaceX's @Starlink for its smart cattle collars, a world-first that removes the need for cell towers or on-ranch infrastructure. "Using Starlink enables ranchers to manage cattle anywhere they can see the sky. Combined with a suite of new tools for reproduction, animal behavior, and precision pasture management, the release significantly expands what is possible for cattle ranch management. Beef ranchers in remote and rugged regions that were limited by connectivity can now turn to virtual fencing to run more productive and sustainable operations - at a time when they face rising fuel costs, labor shortages, and an aging workforce pressures." Halter’s internal modeling estimates direct-to-satellite capability expands coverage of the U.S beef cattle market by 2.5x. Until now, Halter’s solar-powered, GPS-enabled collars relied on Halter’s proprietary long-range radio towers. With direct-to-satellite, the collars can communicate via Starlink, eliminating ground infrastructure entirely.
