Hey all Xanadu Dictator aka VGBC | Aposl here. It’s with a heavy heart that I have to say Xanadu will be closing at the end of December. We initially expected much more time in the lead up to Xanadu closing but due to unforeseen circumstances Xanadu will be closing its doors December 31st! I just want to take this moment to thank this region and the communities I have had the privilege of helping grow and the players that I have the honor to call my friends. I love what Xanadu is and what it stands for: community, competition, and a good time! And, when it comes to the different gaming communities - I know those things will live on through each of you, the players! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗵 Even though this marks the end of an era, we want to go out with a bang! We will be running Xanadu until December 28th. Simply put, our contract with our venue has always had a clause in it where we could be given a month’s heads up before we had to vacate the premises. That clause was activated in a recent email from our landlord's lawyer where we were asked to vacate by the 31st of December. 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘴𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘴 𝘶𝘱? The company we had a contract with is ceasing to exist. We were aware that this was happening but during our conversations with management we were told we would have more time in the space leading into 2025. Now that the new management is starting to take over, we have been met with a legal request to begin the conclusion of the business being conducted on the premises. In short, the new management is evicting us strictly based on our contract terms even though we were under the impression we would have more time. 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘟𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘶 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦? At the time we did not have plans to do so. MJC has been a valuable partner as they have provided us with amazing venue space at a sweetheart deal. Re-creating this in another venue (while not completely impossible) is unlikely. If such an opportunity were to make itself known to us we would undoubtedly consider it.

BBMV Update: Currently have 11 teams that are NOT advancing that are within 20 points of 2nd place, I was all the way up to 28 advancing teams at one point Sunday before falling down to this -- hopefully the variance gods are on my side because this will be embarrassing if not Drop your UD username and I'll get this generated for your BBM teams Only 3 weeks of charts left everybody, may the fantasy gods smile down on us with mercy in their hearts
