HTML output is great. But only if a human is actually reading it. If you're presenting a concept to your team or building something for yourself to review, it's worth it. If it's going straight into another model as context, you're spending 2-4x more tokens on formatting no one asked for.

I kept running into the same annoying problem: I needed to save a reference video from IG or X, but only a small part of it. Most tools let you download the video. Then you still need another app to trim it. So I built my own. Paste a URL from Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, or almost any social platform. Download it instantly. Trim the part you actually need. Save or copy to clipboard. Free. Open source. Built with Codex. Not fully polished yet, but already does the job well.

@DanHollick This is a great example of how AI can be leveraged to make designers’ lives easier. I’m also working in the same direction.

Have you ever wondered how I make some of the illustrations for makingsoftware.com? Well, I made a video walking through some of the tooling I've made. Hopefully its interesting.

We are launching Intuned Agent on @ProductHunt today. Intuned Agent is something we have been trying to build for 1+ year. When we originally launched Intuned, we had to help customers do work because the platform was in a rough state but it quickly became the top thing they wanted from us. After a while, we figured out this is what customers really wanted. So we tried to make a product out of it, it was not easy, models were not good but we were also approaching the problem in the wrong way, we had a rigged pipeline that handle specific cases, we thought this is the way to solve it but we kept hitting walls. Last December, we were ready to release the old stuff we had but after playing around with latest models and Claude Code (and other similar harnesses), we decided to call off the release, kill the old agent and start again. That was painful to do but its the right choice..

Before committing to a redesign, it's worth pulling the data and asking one question: Are users rejecting this — or are they never finding it? Those are different problems. They need different solutions.

Most "failed features" aren't feature failures. They're discovery failures. A pattern I've seen play out more than once — and what to check before you redesign anything 🧵↓

1/4 🚨 @mobbin MCP is finally LIVE 📷 Your AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.) can now tap directly into 600k+ real app screens for perfect UI/UX references. The AI design game just leveled up. 2/4 What changes: • Ask for “checkout like Stripe” or “onboarding like Linear” → get real, tagged patterns instantly • Way less hallucination • Faster, cleaner builds This is the missing piece for AI-powered product development. 3/4 Tested it: Told Claude to build a subscription flow - it pulled actual patterns from top apps instead of making stuff up. Output was noticeably better. 4/4 Go enable the MCP server in Mobbin and connect it to your AI tool. Who’s trying it today? Drop your first results 📷 #Mobbin #MCP #AIDesign #UIUX #Cursor #Claude

Most design reviews go sideways not because the design is wrong. But because it's presented in the wrong language. Stakeholders think in activation, retention, and revenue — not "intuitive" and "consistent." When you present in the language you designed in, the room can't meet you there. Translate the work. The design doesn't change. The outcome does.
