Loud in the library ... it's been a fun week celebrating Gorton Music and Dance Library's 25th Anniversary, capped off today with a Y2K-themed birthday bash. We love being a connection to resources and part of the educational journey for the talented performing artists at KU.

The KU community and campus partners gathered in Watson Library for a global transcribe-a-thon as part of the annual #DouglassDay celebration Friday, enjoying birthday cake and digitizing historical documents. Related materials from Spencer Library were on display in the lobby.

A taste of talent. The Gorton Music and Dance Library welcomed Reed Five for a lunchtime concert Monday in celebration of the library’s 25th anniversary, the second of three Brown Bag performances leading up to a Y2K-themed party for students on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
