🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S. has lost roughly $4.83 billion worth of military assets in just the first month of the Iran war. That includes AWACS planes, F-15s, F-35s, tankers, Reaper drones, and over $2 billion in high-tech radars. Half a billion dollars a week… Oof. Source: Anadolu Agency

🇺🇸 The U.S. military is deploying 18 additional A-10 Thunderbolt II planes to the Middle East, doubling their fleet. The A-10 is essentially a flying gun. The frame is built around a 19-foot-long, 4,000 pound GAU-8 30 mm auto cannon that fires at 65 rounds per second. Oh, and

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump says Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. The question nobody has fully answered is what happens to the uranium that already exists. The IAEA says Iran has 972 lbs of uranium enriched to 60% purity. Weapons grade is 90%. That gap is a short, technical step. The material is buried in hardened facilities across a country the U.S. has been bombing for over a month. Option 1: send in up to 1,000 specially trained troops to secure and remove it by force. These would be America's most elite forces operating in an active war zone, handling nuclear material, deep inside Iran. Option 2: negotiate a surrender of the material as part of a peace deal. Much cleaner. But crucially, it requires Iran to agree. And Iran is currently saying it will fight until "complete victory." Here's the political math: If Trump sends ground troops and something goes wrong, the midterms become a referendum on dead Americans in Iran. But if he leaves the uranium in place and declares victory, the same problem remains. And now they’re more pissed than ever. There is no clean answer here. Just a choice between risks that all have consequences. Source: AP

🇱🇾🇬🇷 Massive Sahara sandstorms turned the skies over Crete and Libya into something straight out of a Hollywood end-of-days movie. The iron-rich dust particles filter out blue light, letting the red wavelengths dominate the sky. Pure nightmare fuel.

Israel has decided to become the second world superpower - This (victory over Iran) will be the guarantee of our future. We are working to make Israel a regional, and even a world superpower. And we will achieve this thanks to our soldiers and officers, thanks to all who fought and died. I thank all of you for your solidarity and endurance. - Netanyahu

I have postponed my trip to Iperu, Ogun State. My first duty at this moment is to stand with the people of Plateau. I will be in Jos to commiserate with families who have lost loved ones and to reaffirm that those who seek to spread fear will not prevail. We will continue to strengthen our security response and ensure that justice is done. From Plateau, I will proceed to Lagos to observe Good Friday, and then continue with scheduled engagements in Ogun, Lagos, and Bayelsa focused on infrastructure, trade, and economic growth. In moments of grief, we must stand together. In moments of progress, we must keep building. The work continues. Nigeria First. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President

DSS Intercepts Ammunition Courier, Disrupts Bandits' Supply Chain Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested 25-year-old Nafisa Usman for allegedly supplying ammunition to bandits operating across several states . Security sources revealed that Ms. Usman was nabbed at a major motor park in Kano, where she was caught with 200 rounds of newly acquired ammunition. The consignment, transported from Lafia in Nasarawa State, was headed for Kankara in Katsina State. The source revealed that the operation followed actionable intelligence, which revealed Usman's movement and activities. "Nafisa, a native of Zango village in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, was intercepted before completing the delivery allegedly meant for bandits operating in the Kankara forest "The suspect confessed to have been two months old in the trade of illegally shipping arms and ammunition for criminals. She revealed that the ammunition was handed her by an individual identified as 'Teso,' whom she claimed operates in collaboration with a military operative based in Lafia, Nasarawa State", disclosed the source. The source further revealed that the suspect admitted her involvement and revealed that she has facilitated over ₦5 million in deals through Unguwa Uku motor park in Kano State for onward transportation to Katsina State. 'The supplies were intended for a bandit leader known as Mallam Haruna, said to be active in the Kankara axis. She added that she also supplies ammunition to one Buba and Abu, operating within the same forest region," revealed the source. Nafisa also disclosed that she was introduced to the alleged bandit network by a Kano-based livestock trader identified as Sulaiman. This operation, among many others, underscores the DSS's relentless efforts to dismantle criminal networks, disrupt illicit arms supply chains, and safeguard national security.

🇮🇷🇧🇭 Iran hit the world’s biggest aluminum smelters in the UAE and Bahrain. EGA’s giant Al Taweelah plant had to shut down after missiles knocked out power. Molten aluminum solidified inside the pots, causing massive damage. Same story at Aluminium Bahrain. These 2 alone pump out over 3 million tons a year. The Middle East supplies 9% of global aluminum. That means higher prices for cars, planes, cans, construction… everything. This isn’t just a regional fight anymore. Iran is now directly attacking critical global supply chains. Energy and metals markets are about to feel real pain. The world should be paying attention. Source: Bloomberg

BREAKING: The Israeli Air Force continued committing another war crime in Iran this afternoon by targeting multiple pharmaceutical facilities. Among them, Darou Pakhsh—one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Iran—was heavily bombed. The company plays a major role in producing and distributing medicines across the country, making its targeting particularly significant in terms of impact on civilian healthcare infrastructure. #OperationEpicFury #OperationLionsRoar

🚨🇮🇷 Iranian drones hit 3 Amazon AWS data centers in the Gulf. 2 in the UAE directly, 1 in Bahrain nearby. Iran's reason: the U.S. military runs AI intelligence systems on AWS. Including, they specifically claimed, Anthropic's Claude. The facilities are still partially offline. @clashreport

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Iran just launched only 3 missile barrages at Israel since the last update, their lowest rate of the entire war. Not only that, but the salvos are tiny now. They’ve basically been lobbing just a handful of missiles per attack since March 20. Looks like their command-and-control is struggling hard. Iran is running out of steam… and it shows. Don't expect any fruitful negotiation at this stage. Source: ISW-CTP

If Trump pulls the US out of NATO, Europe will quickly realise that they never needed the US in the first place. As we have said for years, the US was never going to defend Europe. It was and will always be an utter myth. They just want Europe to buy their useless military hardware and munitions and so they can seek to control Europe and prevent it's rotation to Russia and Eurasia. Europe has a choice, die defending its pointless relationship with the US or embrace Eurasia including Russia

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, on behalf of Trump, expressed regret that Saudi authorities signed defense agreements with Ukraine without consulting the United States, which had been Saudi Arabia’s main ally. In response, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman noted that the U.S. had failed to fully protect the Kingdom from Iranian strikes, and therefore Saudi Arabia made a decision that could quickly strengthen its defense capabilities. Well, it would have been naïve to expect the prince to strike deals with Trump after being told to “kiss his ass” — especially when he supposedly “doesn’t have the cards,” right? 😁

ICE guards are betting on which detainee will kill themselves next. The AP just exposed the savage conditions of a detention camp in El Paso. The Associated Press got inside Camp East Montana. What they found should be on the front page of every newspaper in this country until it closes. About 3,000 people packed in per day. Loud, unsanitary quarters crawling with insects. Food so scarce that detainees steal from each other just to eat. Disease spreading through filthy rooms, showers, and restrooms that go uncleaned. People losing weight. People unable to see a doctor. People losing their minds. Staff made nearly one 911 call per day in the camp's first five months. One call captures a man sobbing after being assaulted by another detainee. Another has a doctor describing a man banging his head against a wall while expressing suicidal thoughts. A nurse calls about a pregnant woman in severe pain with coronavirus. Detainees suffering seizures, some resulting in serious head trauma. Ages ranged from a 19-year-old who fell from a bunk to a 79-year-old who couldn't breathe. And then there's the detail that should haunt this administration for the rest of its existence. Owen Ramsingh, a former property manager from Columbia, Missouri, who spent weeks in the camp before being deported to the Netherlands, told the AP he overheard a security guard talking about a betting pool among the staff. They were wagering on which detainee would be next to die by suicide. The guard said he had put $500 in. The total pot rode on the outcome. Ramsingh said the talk was particularly devastating because he had contemplated suicide himself. Guards are gambling on the deaths of people in their custody. People who are hungry. People who are sick. People who are begging for help through 911 calls that come in every single day. And the staff turned it into a game. This is not some rogue facility. This is the system working exactly as this administration designed it. Overcrowded by policy. Underfed by neglect. Understaffed by choice. They built a place where human beings deteriorate and then the people paid to watch over them place bets on who breaks first. The AP has the data. The recordings. The interviews. The court filings. This is documented. This is real. This is happening right now in El Paso, Texas, in the United States of America. Share this. Do not let them bury it under another news cycle.

What Vice Admiral Ogalla did to the Navy that got naval chaps crying when he bowed out is exactly what Air Marshal Aneke is doing. Everyday I see air force guys putting his picture on their DPs. Initiative after initiative. And at the same time, the airforce is adhering to its core mandate of delivering fire to terrorists. I don’t know the man from Adam & I know he might not approve of this post. But the airforce chief is on an unprecedented trajectory in terms of fantastic leadership. PBAT was spot on with this appointment. Sir, this is just an appreciation post.
