We got a bigger fee for Trent who had 3 weeks left on his contract than we're getting for Salah who's got 1 year left on his contract.

Ngl, it doesn't sit right with me that Salah's leaving on a free. Yes he's one of our greatest ever players but he did sign a 2 year £400k a week contract, We could easily get a decent sized fee for him from a Saudi club.

How is Salah’s contract being dealt with? Are we getting a fee or are we agreeing to pay him off? Or was his contract a 1+1 situation and we simply aren’t taking up the option??

@AnfieldSector I don't think he's leaving on a free, they've probably agreed on a fee that he can leave for and know a bunch of Saudi clubs are willing to meet it. Liverpool aren't just going to forgo £50m+.
