Got a surprise in the mail earlier this week. Thank you @spiio_official and @Syngenta_Turf for the goodies and also the ease of mind when I am away from the course

It maybe a frigid -26 out. However, my greens in the words of @lbizzz they are "snug as a bug in a rug" sitting at 32. @spiio_official giving me some real-time data.

@GCIMagazineGuy After the renno at Hillcrest (LA) we used soil sensors to manage 5 different soil textures across 3 grass types with turkey brine for water. It helped us provide uniform playing conditions, keep track of irr events and allocation, used soil temp for apps & comm to members

Haven’t visited many superintendents who are strongly considering installing in-ground soil moisture sensors. Has interest in the technology waned? Or is more education about their possibilities required?

@GCIMagazineGuy Use the toro in grounds (13 years) and have some spiios (3 years). I really like them. Great post rainfall events for carts, dry down etc.. and to check and see if irrigation cycles are effective. Great tool and a labor saver.
