@lemonsuzz if that were the case, it would be for any travel length. it's specifically about travel exceeding a certain time length. if that time length isnt exceeded then travelling alone even at night is permissible. it's not abt safety but mahram. you need to stop making your own rulings

This is for the time when travel used to be long, dangerous and unpredictable through deserts and its more about about the social conditions of that time and no amount of reasons allow the use of such offensive language but sure
