Back in college, I made a mistake that ruined my reputation—na-cancel ako. I was crying every day, halos di ko masabi sa family ko. Only my best friend helped me get through the daily shame. When I finally told my family, they were disappointed, galit pa nga. But what surprised me was how they defended me in front of my school heads, who didn’t even want to hear my apology. My family stood up and said, “Mistakes are part of growing up. This won’t define who she is.”

after leaving an abusive relationship, I hit rock bottom. I felt worthless, and honestly, gusto ko nang sumuko. Then one of my friend has this PFP of a girl—with Bayonetta, at first akala ko gf nya pero she said " Si Maloi yan sa BINI" and she sent me one of her clips. At first wala lang kasi yes she's funny but i didn't know searching her name sa TikTok will change my algorithm and showed me a lot of their kumu clips, next thing I know I was laughing to all of their clips , napapangiti na ko unti-unti nako nagiging okay, I was saved. I asked God for help—and He gave me 8 girls with chaotic friendship and real talent.
Did I get hurt and disappointed? YES masakit eh.
Will I cancel them? of course NO
Mali is mali yes. But as an adult ( ate ) my role is to guide them, help them be accountable, and grow. One mistake won’t define them. OT8 pa rin ako. We all fall short, but we all have the chance to be better. Experience is life’s best teacher.
