The West will not survive if it refuses to decide what it will defend — and what it will reject. In my latest weekly column for @RestoringWest, I argue that liberty requires boundaries, cultural confidence, and the courage to say that not every value system is compatible with Western civilization.

On Monday evening, four brave young IDF soldiers were killed in Lebanon. One of them was my beloved stepson, Gilad Harel. He was one of the greatest men I have ever known, brave, kind, and deeply loved. israellycool.com/2026/04/03/gil…

For those asking about the Jew Hunt and how I know it is one. Jon Cowley an activist door knocker (and keen head-butter of women) confirms that addresses are noted as “not interested” or “supportive” of their pro-Palestinian politics. So Jews or supporters of Jews - their addresses are recorded. It’s not called a Jew Hunt because they simply drop a leaflet round. Which they could. We all have letterboxes. #SheffieldJewHunt

Let me show you how this works: It’s Friday morning. You’re in America. Coffee in hand. Half-awake. Scrolling. A headline hits you: “America/Israel bombs residential building, 20 civilians killed, including 5 children.” (These numbers are imaginary) Your stomach drops. You glance at your kid. Or think about your nieces and nephews. Now you’re not just reading anymore, you’re feeling anger, rage, disgust. By the time you get to work, the story has already settled in your mind as truth. At lunch, you bring it up. Your coworkers nod. Of course they do. Why wouldn’t they? It sounds real. Now five more people carry that same anger. They go home. They repeat it. To friends. To family. Online. Just like that, one headline becomes thousands of convictions. But here is what never made it into that headline what you did not see, what no one bothered to check: It wasn’t America. It wasn’t Israel. It was a failed missile fired by the IRGC that fell on its own people. And by the time the truth shows up, if it ever does, the damage is already done. This is what an information war looks like in real time.

🚨DOUGLAS MURRAY: IT’S TIME TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE ISLAMIC TAKEOVER OF BRITAIN! ☪️ 🇬🇧 He’s Had Enough. The British People Have Every Right To Defend Their Traditions, Holy Places, And Holy Days Without Being Branded Far-Right Extremists 👊💥 In a powerful and unapologetic exchange on Piers Morgan’s show, Douglas Murray strikes back against the constant barrage of insults and defamation directed at ordinary Britons who simply want to protect their own culture and heritage. He makes it crystal clear that the public should no longer silently endure being smeared for daring to stand up for what belongs to them. “The British public should not endlessly be putting up with being insulted and defamed. My belief is we have a right to stand up for our traditions and a right to stand up for our holy places and our holy days,” Murray declares with conviction. He then lays bare the outrageous double standard that has poisoned public discourse: “People will say the people who defend it are far right extremists, by the way something they would never say against the people, the other way around, who had defaced the Cenotaph.” This selective outrage is no longer tolerable. While British identity, history, and sacred symbols face daily erosion under waves of unchecked immigration and cultural replacement, defenders of the nation are vilified, yet those who attack its monuments are excused or ignored. He draws a firm line in the sand: Britain is being taken over, and the time for passive acceptance has ended. It’s time to push back boldly and unapologetically before it’s too late. 💪

🚨DOUGLAS MURRAY DESTROYS KEIR STARMER FOR SMEARING BRITS & IGNORING VOTERS ON IMMIGRATION! 🔥👊💥 Politicians Insult The Public, Smear Peaceful Protesters As Far-Right Neo-Nazis, While 74 Percent Of New Jobs Go To Foreign-Born Workers 😡 Douglas Murray has unleashed a scathing attack on UK politicians, especially Keir Starmer and his government, for years of contempt toward ordinary British voters demanding lower immigration. "If the public keep saying something to the politicians and the politicians keep, not just ignoring them, but insulting them, what are they allowed to do these people?" Murray demanded. For 20 years, voters have repeatedly called for reduced immigration and been promised action that never materialised. They have watched an economy since 2008, "where of the jobs created by the British government, since 2008, 74 percent have gone to people who were not born in Britain." Murray sharply criticised the routine defamation of citizens who dare to protest peacefully: "Every time there is a peaceful protest, the peaceful protesters are defamed as far right, neo-nazis." He warned that this deliberate tactic of silencing dissent is deeply flawed: "The actual desire to tar anyone who has not got a voice and is wanting to make their voice heard, as a violent far right neo-nazi seems to me to be a big error by Keir Starmer and others." This arrogant approach by Starmer and the establishment is fuelling resentment, eroding trust in democracy, and risking further unrest. Instead of addressing legitimate public concerns about economic displacement and cultural change, they choose insults and smears.

The Head of the Grooming Gangs Inquiry says they will investigate public figures who were complicit in the scandal. Alright then. Let’s make it easier for them: 𝗞𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 Called protestors of Pakistani-Muslim grooming gangs “far-Right bandwagon jumpers”, refused a national inquiry until he was forced to backtrack, oversaw the failure to prosecute offenders as head of the Crown Prosecution Service etc. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀 Voted against a national inquiry, ignored council requests to meet, watered down the Gov’s “local enquiries” until they were scrapped altogether, accused victims of being far-Right, downplayed the severity and scale of abuse, repeatedly denied and shut out victims from speaking out 𝗦𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗾 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗻 Repeatedly denied the existence of grooming gangs in London, claimed there were “no reported cases and also no indication”, voted down proposals for an inquiry into Pakistani-Muslim grooming gangs in London, took away 4.5 million in funding for the inquiry 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝘂𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗣 Labour MP and former Leader of Telford and Wrekin Council, oversaw the fallout of the Telford scandal, downplayed the severity and scale of CSE in Telford, attempted to block an independent inquiry, voted against a national inquiry, protected Cabinet members who played an active role in the scandal (eg. These people complaining about the triple lock on pensions for people who paid into the system all their working lives should vent their anger on the amount this government pays out housing illegal migrants that have not paid a single penny into the system. It’s insane these people blame the elderly for working hard all their lives. If you want to blame anyone it should be the government not the elderly.

I just got off the phone with someone who works in defense policy in Washington. What they told me should end every "Trump is reckless" argument permanently. "Every single president since Clinton received the same intelligence briefing on Iran's nuclear timeline. Every single one was told the window was closing. Every single one chose to kick it down the road because the political cost of acting was higher than the political cost of waiting." Trump got the same briefing. 60kg of 90% enriched uranium. 4 weeks to breakout. Material for 2 bombs. He chose to act knowing it would tank his approval to 35%. He chose to act knowing his own base would split. He chose to act knowing NATO allies would refuse to help. He chose to act knowing gas prices would spike. A senior analyst I know at a major think tank put it this way: "The difference between Trump and every president before him isn't intelligence. They all had the same data. The difference is courage." Read that again. Every president had the same file on their desk. Only one opened it and did something. I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨

Yeah I suddenly walked into a TV presenting job with the click of a finger… I worked in Sainsbury’s, for EDF Energy, the water board, call centres, all from age 17, just to get money. I didn’t care what job I did, I just needed to support myself. I said yes to everything, trusting that I’d one day get there and everything would work itself out. I didn’t turn down jobs because it wasn’t my field or what I wanted or dreamed of right that minute or think I was above anything or anyone. I had no money. I never went to uni. I saved hard for a £5,000 journalism course, I then worked like a dog at local newspapers (still on minimum wage) and at a bookmaker at the same time doing 20 hour days for years just to keep grinding. I spent more hard years commuting to London and back, doing graveyard shifts at papers then waiting at Blackfriars station at 3 in the morning to get home to Sussex and start my other job at 9am. It nearly killed me. For years. 16 years it took me to get here. And you know what? I loved it all. I loved the journey, I loved the dark moments asking myself if it was all worth it. I loved the wins. I loved the hard lessons. And I love what I’m doing now. Yes I have the best job in the world (for me) and I’m incredibly grateful. And I’m still grinding. I’ve just done 14 days straight, travelling to Texas, Florida, then DC. Doing a three hour show every night. But I recognise how fortunate I am. I always have, even when I was stacking shelves. I didn’t just turn up at a studio and start presenting. Most importantly I never played the victim.

In the middle of war, in Iran, at dawn, at the call to prayer, they took a 68-year-old architect from his cell to the gallows and executed him. This is how they rule Iran: they cut the internet. They torture political prisoners to do false confessions. They air it on state TV. They execute them. Then they announce it on state media. We Iranians are living in horror and it is beyond sad that international media barely talks about it. I believe this silence will embolden the regime to turn mass arrests into mass executions. His name was Abolhassan Montazer, and he had heart and lung disease. They denied him medicine.

The terrorists of the Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shabi), carrying Iraqi flags, have taken up positions in the streets and squares of Iran. They parade around, sowing fear and threatening massacres, while chanting their propaganda in the face of our people. What the Ba’athist regime of Saddam Hussein failed to impose on Iran during eight years of war, the criminal Islamic regime is imposing on the Iranian nation today. This is the ultimate disgrace of an anti-Iranian regime that, in order to survive, has handed the country over to foreign occupiers. This is the trampling of a nation’s pride and a blatant insult to the blood of those who defended the homeland for eight years against Iraq. Shame on every man in military uniform who stands beside the invading terrorists of Hashd al-Shaabi against the great nation of Iran. Where is the Iranian Army? Where are the veterans of the eight-year war with Iraq? Where has Iranian military honor gone, that Iraqi terrorists now lord over the lives, property, and honor of Iranians from Khuzestan to Tehran? The Hashd al-Shaabi and other Iraqi militias are invading and occupying forces. They have no place in Iran. They must be expelled immediately from the pure soil of Iran. Long live Iran, Reza Pahlavi

In a month the two-party system that has dominated Britain will end. Labour and Conservatives will sustain almost unimaginable losses. They will no longer have a “safe seat”. May 7th is one of those hinges of history. A door swings open; on the other side is a new reality.
