#Samson is a prime example of why cramming every major UE5 feature into an open map intended for high-speed traversal is a terrible idea. the game is a massive CPU hog, and Frame Gen is currently a must.

Here’s what’s causing the stuttering when aiming with the sniper rifle:
Setting Level Of Detail to Very High (and High, to a lesser extent) causes a significant VRAM spike, which leads to the stutter. So the best way to avoid this is to stick to High or Medium LOD, and if you’re VRAM limited, lower the texture setting as well.

So I opted for Crimson Desert and after a few hours I'm having a ton of fun with it. But I will say the visuals at times are really bad. During the day and outdoors it's manageable and can look good even, but the moment you are indoors or light is cast from anywhere except the sun the presentation often falls apart with a lot of noise.
Ray Reconstruction is basically a must but it is VERY heavy, so for now I've resorted to DLSS Performance at 1440p with RR enabled, and as bad as it sounds, it does look better in most cases than native 1440p without RR.
I really hope they can address the noise and flickering in a future patch.
