I received only one party invitation so far, but just registered nonetheless so that I can physically meet the first-author of a paper for the first time (and also be the backup speaker in case his travel visa screws up or something). 👹

@verge The dual view is very interesting but also raises the question: what else can the camera see? We may need to adjust our assumption about which parts of our surroundings are visible in the camera for virtual meetings. (I may even clean up the space behind the phone just in case.)

Past/future papers chairs, any ideas to encourage on-time review submissions? One thought: for every review, one transfers X dollars to an escort account (hosted by the conference), and receives X(1+r)^(q-p) back where r: interest rate, p: submission time, q: official deadline.👹
