that’s the question isn’t it. what WILL she do? there are no youth clubs for her to attend. food, cinema tickets, any sort of third space activity is all too expensive. their parents are underpaid, saturday jobs don’t exist any more, children have truly been abandoned by the govt

@SuperTroooperz the government have only just announced free buses for young people during this summer recently, outside of that they have to pay full fare (unless they have a student card i think). England is very much behind on transport subsidisation unfortunately

@loopzoooop Yeah the road in my scheme wasnt a 70 mph road. If we wanted to go further afield it was a bus,which im sure is currently free for kids. It is in Scotland

@loopzoooop Its the need to explain to adults that there were kids before social media which is the weirdest thing about all this. We all never had the things you mention. We rode our bikes and made fun. Kids are going to have to start using their imagination again.

This Governments branding of protest as 'terrorism' has seen grandparents arrested and dragged through the courts simply for holding up signs. It's deeply authoritarian when people are speaking out against a genocide and for a free Palestine.

The fact that your government has made it illegal for me to answer yes is a damning testament to your flagrant disregard for civil liberties. This may be targeted at those taking action against the genocide, but it sets a very dangerous precedent that puts everyone at risk.

@loopzoooop As a teen I was a menace. I was doing dr*gs & stealing. When Youtube & Myspace came around I found online friends I could relate to which got me out of trouble. Public facilities need to be made more affordable for families & teens. Otherwise they'll just roam the streets.
