@dhume @tallstories The writers historical analysis mentions 26/11, the biggest watershed in the relationship since 1971, only in the passing, twice. Once as an appendix to Modis visit and second as the reason why the comprehensive dialogue ended. Doesn't put Indian position in perspective at all.

@AhmedShahAzfar @AhmedIntek12121 @sadafzbaloch @FaizMoon I think there is simple logic to buying from India compared to China, Malaysia etc. One only has to look at the map. Also, i am not sure all refineries can process RUS crude. If BD has a refinery to do that, then your point stands. Otherwise not, and you've to use IN.

Bangladesh has just got waivers from Trump administration to import Russian oil. This is why this option can be pursued now. So no, that has nothing to do with India. China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and many more in our region can process heavy Russian crude. We already import from them. Your ignorance on basics is typical of Kanglus 🤷🏾‍♂️ For example why is India not China ? Have we learned NOTHING from the Adani power deal disaster ?

🚨 Big economic win for Pakistan! Saudi Arabia has finalized plans for a $10 billion oil refinery in Gwadar. Aramco is partnering with Pakistan’s PSO, OGDCL, PPL & GHPL. Pakistani companies will put in 40-45% of the investment. The refinery will process 300,000–400,000 barrels per day and slash Pakistan’s oil import bill. Project first announced in 2019, now moving forward with tax holidays and full support

@sabsezyadaa @PSK1458312 I'm indian. I don't want to be American. Now, as a sane American please go pay your taxes to the pedo president, while holding a few banners saying "no king"... which would be sent to Israel anyways...

You know why the Pakistani meme game is so hilarious?? Because it actually comes from a place of humor and entertainment and even self deprecation. Indian meme stuff comes from a place of hate and anger and bigotry.

@AhmedShahAzfar @AhmedIntek12121 @sadafzbaloch @FaizMoon Do you have a reading disability? The post you linked clearly says Russian oil. Russian oil is sanctioned. That's why India is processing it. India takes on the risk of US sanctions. Stop blaming everything on India just because it suits your politics.

Yesterday I was at Belapur District Court for a matter pending since 4 years - I requested permission to speak to the Hon Judge - told him that in the last 4 years we have got 49 dates and still there no progress - It was a plea to direct the police to file an FIR and investigate since Police have been acting indifferent….. he confirms he will pass the order the same day and upload - and then what do I see in evening? “Parties and Advocate Absent” and it’s postponed to May 2026. Am I missing something? @bombaybench @MLJ_GoI @indialegalmedia

I can say with 100% certainty that the total wealth hoarded by our babus and netas likely exceeds our GDP which is around ₹340 trillion ($4 trillion) India has produced roughly 70,000 babus and netas since independenc. Dividing ₹340 trillion by 70,000 gives about ₹480 crore per person 🙂 Total wealth held by our babus+netas = india annual gdp

It's the Minsk deception all over again. Pakistan is staging "negotiations" to buy time for the US and Israel to re-arm, re-supply, and re-strategize before they move in for the kill. Iran is walking into a tried-and-tested trap.
Furkan Gözükara@FurkanGozukara

Absolute bombshell. UK PM Keir Starmer confirms he is actively coordinating with Donald Trump to build a massive 30 nation military coalition to force open the Strait of Hormuz. They are using the ceasefire as a cover to prepare for a massive escalation against Iran.

As an Arnab who hates this right-wing, anti-minority Arnab that you unwittingly share - America is a civilization, imperfect but extraordinary. It has been the engine behind modern medicine, human flight, and the moon landing. It’s a place where people from across the world come in search of freedom. That freedom has been under real strain - under both the Joe Biden and Donald Trump administrations - but it remains something worth believing in, and worth fighting for.

@shabbircrypto @abhishekbhaya @ShashiTharoor > "But I think people India will take 2 to 3 centuries to back on the track because of Whatsapp uni and the cheap media" And what track would that be? I am curious, what conclusions have you come to after your musings about Indians?

@abhishekbhaya @ShashiTharoor Sometimes I wonder how it is possible that there are still some people in India who actually think with their brains. Lots of love. But I think people India will take 2 to 3 centuries to back on the track because of Whatsapp uni and the cheap media

"If Pakistan succeeds, India should be among the first to celebrate. Celebrating a neighbour's mediation does not diminish our standing; in a nuclear-armed neighbourhood, a win for stability is a win for everyone." Totally agree with @ShashiTharoor. A saner, more nuanced diplomatic approach is the need of the hour.
Shashi Tharoor@ShashiTharoor

My latest #TharoorThink column analyses the “Islamabad channel” and argues the case for India supporting peace in the #IranWar, whoever midwives it:

@sreemoytalukdar India is a market, not a power. Anyone can exploit and loot you. Every great power needs Pak's help due to its geostrategic location and geopolitical clout in Islamic world. Accept this reality and move on.

Israelis are angry with Pakistan. We get it. They should seek some answers from Trump, the man single-handedly responsible for giving Pakistan a lifeline. The egomaniac couldn't accept that New Delhi would deny him the fake credit on Op Sindoor. That rankled him so much that he revamped America's Pakistan policy. Chickens are coming home.

People are laughing at this exchange but this is unironically what will be pushed in Indian universities when Congress is back in power. Hell, it’s still present in Indian academia now despite recent corrective efforts. The rot is deep & ecosystem incentives dwarf RW version.

The usual cause effect flip. India should be remembered because it traded with Rome - all of it's greatness should be attributed to it being a part of Roman trade network - while the reality is, it was Romans who came to India to trade - Romans wanted to trade with India, not the reverse. x.com/TheSignOfFive/…
