@darsh_cp@nidmarti@IanRich07 there are a small few use cases today where the friction of a VR experience is outweighed by the benefit (e.g. @GravitySketch is my favorite proven ROI ex.) but the platform bet relies on the assumption that the form factor friction decreases over time
@darsh_cp@nidmarti@IanRich07 he chose a weird use case to start with imo... collaborating on an inherently 2d project (code) doesn't need to happen in 3d. i noticed meta's xr commercials choosing similarly bad examples
This leads to our optimism about VR experiences that are either a) a lot cheaper or b) ridiculously better than the real-world alternatives. Of course, we’re most excited to back companies that check both boxes :)
The coolest thing about XR is that it allows us to multiply the impact of an experience. With VR, we can create environments that are precisely engineered for our intended use case. In the physical world, this would usually be incredibly expensive & in some cases impossible
👀 Sneak a peek at the deepest & sharpest infrared image of the early universe ever taken — all in a day’s work for the Webb telescope. (Literally, capturing it took less than a day!) This is Webb’s first image released as we begin to #UnfoldTheUniverse: nasa.gov/webbfirstimage…
Very excited to publish our first of many pieces of generative AI - we believe that these models are the basis of the next major platform shift.

🔮 What does it mean if after a tarot reading my first thought was “I wish there was a way to AB test this”😝
(Eg same cards, diff reader/ same card + reader, diff framing of the context I give, etc)
S/o @natashajuliakim@hannahmurdoch_ for organizing for our @AllRaise cohorts
My colleague @MikeDroesch and I wrote about where we see new opportunities for software to transform global supply chains and why we're so excited, in our latest roadmap on Supply Chain Software:
