I often talk about performing right on the edge of optimal intensity. Stay there and teams can execute their performance model. Drift away and small lapses in discipline, decisions, or accuracy can be the difference. Privilege to work with this group. Playoffs next.🏹

Performance sport is often decided in moments, not minutes. A 1-point loss for Cardiff Met RFC vs Hartpury to close the BUCS Super Rugby regular season. A real game of two halves and a reminder of the fine margins that exist in performance environments. 🧵

Enjoyed an inspiring @RugbySciNetwork Conference today- great opportunity to attend in person & connect with individuals across the field. Seeing the women’s rugby focus aligned with the Women’s World Cup reinforced how impactful work in these areas can be for the sport’s future

Great to see the @Cardiff_Rugby U18s block finishing with an unbeaten run. Lots of hard work from players and staff resulting in a good performance in the rain. Thoroughly enjoyed working with the group!

@IntRugbyPlayers & @WorldRugby are working to build better guidelines around match & training load, mental load, rest, & recovery- this is a key part of that. It’s an important project I’ve been contributing to. Pro players and staff - help shape the future of player welfare.
