@TonyD9999 @AFCWimbledon It was communicated on the OS on Jan 6 and there was a survey in Sept. The club needed tickets on sale for a longer time to maximise revenue (which we all want). Appreciate people might not know plans. It's not ideal for us but is much for the club.

@AFCWimbledon can someone explain how and why this new 21 day, rule to keep your debenture seat came about.. why weren’t we asked first? When I bought the seat it was under a totally different time scale. I also have a ST but with cost creeping up I am thinking of letting it go

@ChipsFinch @WHADmedia Browne playing as a striker in a 2, Tilly back, Maycock having a decent run of games. We look quicker, aren't playing a pass around the back game. And look like we have our swagger back.

@WHADmedia That's the best we've played. We made Bradford look awful. Massive difference is Reeves not playing and Maycock being exceptional. Tilley coming back has been a masterstroke

@tommak @WomblesDream 4 years? And the rest. Financially we have struggled ever since we got back in to the league, certainly in terms of keeping up with the rest. I'm firmly of the opinion this is a football problem not a Wimbledon problem, although it impacts us more due to our model, obviously

@WomblesDream Not a new problem. Been staring at it for nearly 4 years and haven’t developed any financial strategy to attempt to be sustainable (even with additional investment). We’ve also run out of saleable assets (Nkeng we’ve stumbled across) and so the problem won’t go away…

@wombelle @TheDonsTrust There is a meeting on the 3rd isn't there? And there was a big financial piece before Christmas saying we didn't have a lot of money!

Wondering if @TheDonsTrust will ever comment on the ever growing bleak rumours doing the rounds. Usual head in sand tactics getting untenable. Engage or resign.

@9yrspodcast It's horrible. To be fair, we ripped it from the Hibs fans a day or 2 before Luton away

SGM notes so far. 7,824 Dons Trust members now (to include ST holders) with 854 U25s (up from 197) a healthy sign. Bond repayments reduced from £9.8m to £7.8m. More figures that are heading in the right direction. Fan Zone food - 2/3 trucks rotated regularly. Fans to vote.

@sw19resistance @KentWomble No last season there were more food stands offering a wide range of food and also catering for supporters with differing dietary choices. Two or three trucks will certainly reduce choice. I would also like reassurances that supporters who are vegetarian or vegan are catered for.

@9yrspodcast Funny isn't it. Lots of genuine decent fans stood up to the breakaway league. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but I'm wondering if the best course of action was a swift "bye bye, don't let the door hit your arse on the way out"

@Wolfie885 @ScoutingHive @WomblesDream All depends on whether you see it as a pure service or a profit maker for the club? I suspect for a club who loses a lot of money each year, we can't be as generous as we would like. Other outlets might be good. Would it stop a mypie customer buying food/coming to games?

@ScoutingHive @WomblesDream I hear that - but sounds like it was more MyPies attitude here not the club. We need to move ruthlessly right now.

@wmricketts @AFCWimbledon Because a training ground and new stand/extended West Stand are massively expensive and longer term projects? Floodlight upgrade could be useful for allowing other events/teams. I seem to remember the Broncos were meant to have better lights in super league?

@AFCWimbledon Not sure why floodlights and training ground are being prioritised over increasing capacity. Surely increasing capacity is the number one way of increasing income, making us more competitive and ensuring we don’t have to sell out? What’s the ROI on better floodlights?

Possible Lee Brown logic... We have 5 CBs for 3 spots (Lewis, Johnson, Harbottle, Ogs, Hutch). Prob don't need a 6th but might be handy, esp. with Hutch also covering MF. And ideally a left footer. So player happy not to play much, cheap, good around the place... enter Lee Brown?

@JamPot44 @RealSW19Army I long for the days when no one cared about pre season friendlies and the first time you saw a new player was the first game of the season. I quite enjoy the summer off.

@RealSW19Army Your right: AFCW life feels detached at the mo. Gone from daily squad sigingin updates, to radio silence bar realistic but morose financial updates. Wembley joy sucked dry. I'm recooperating now, no PFS, save energy for 2025-26. Many others likewise, except the usual suspects!

@rosemontjd @WomblesDream There have been lots of calls to put away the begging bowl and get more commercially minded. And the first time the club do this since the relaunch of WAWF there are comments like this! Classic.

@mike_overill @WomblesDream Yeah it's an interesting thing. Is the food park there to make the club money or provide an a great experience to fans? We will never know how many fans come to us for the first time, love the experience and then come back.

@WomblesDream They touched on this in the interview with James Woodroof. We make basically no money off the food offerings and they have had to rethink how the pitches are commercially managed.
