i love real artists and real translators, real humans who do what they do with passion and love, fuck ai this is so disheartening and disrespectful towards people who genuinely put so much effort into their work

i really care about the art of translation and the translators who undertake it and all i can do is hope that the world continues to see value in them. no matter how “good” ai translation gets, it will always fundamentally be missing a human voice and human soul

I’d rather fucking wait months on end than have my favorite novels translated by AI. and same goes for art. keep your translators and artists. if that changes I’m out and done. we are all very serious about AI and VERY!!! against it. it better be mentioned if it’s used.
