Appreciate them flat out stating that she got an advanced screening for a version of the movie, then wrote the song in a day. And that this was back in Feb. Cannot deal with another post claiming she’s been secretly egging this since 2023

@picturemelucy @dailyyspinz I worded that wrong, what I mean was it wasn’t a project that she would’ve been getting an early screening for then. Voice acting didn’t even wrap until late 2025.

There’s very early videos of 16 yo Taylor describing her creative process and saying she hears the production in her head. Many collaborators have confirmed this. It’s just a matter of finding producers who can help bring that vision she has to life.

I get having preferences for production styles but crediting or blaming producers for Taylor’s songs is just as misogynistic as thanking muses. Taylor is a producer too and is very hands on, her songs sound how she wants them to. Stop acting like she’s not involved.

@dailyyspinz Announced isn’t the same as finished though. Some of the voice actors mentions they wrapped their parts in late 2025. I’m not claiming to know the exact timeline of when this was written but was closer to 2025 than 2023
