جولي قدرت ترجع للماضي، وتحاول تنقذ أبوها بس تفشل والدليل كلام إيثن والرجل الأصفر قالوا لها "لا يمكن تغيير الحكايات بعد أن تُحكى". كأنهم عارفين إن محاولاتها عبثية! و هذا يفسر ليه "مارتن" عرف اسم جولي وليه الوحش في الحلقة الأولى تعرف عليها وقال لها "ألم تتعرفي علي؟". جولي هي حلقة الوصل اللي شافهم بهيئتهم البشرية قبل التضحية، وحذرتهم إنها بتحولهم لوحوش.
النظرية تقول إن مهمتها هي السفر للماضي وتحذير الأهالي هي التقت بـ "مارتن" في زمن مختلف، عشان كذا هو الوحيد اللي عرفها. الموضوع كله عبارة عن حلقة زمنية مغلقة، وجولي هي اللي تحاول تكسرها!
هل جولي هي الشخص اللي حكى القصة للأطفال في الماضي وعطاهم الأمل؟ وهل الصوت اللي جاء لـ "سارة" عشان تقتل إيثن هو في الواقع صوت جولي "السائرة بين الأزمنة" اللي تحاول تمنع القصة من الأساس؟

إيثن هو الرجل الأصفر.. الرجل الأصفر هو إيثن صارلي سنتين أدعم هذي النظرية، وأول حلقة من الموسم الجديد عطتني أقوى تلميح إيثن دائماً يحكي قصص فيها وحوش وبحيرة الدموع.. هل هذا مجرد خيال طفل، ولا إيثن هو الراوي الحقيقي لقصة الرجل الأصفر
