Been busy lately but got back into speedrunning Mario eclipse and got the first sub 4:50 IGT and first ever sub 5 RTA WR for 100% a few days ago. I am going for the sub 4:40 IGT next and might push it a bit further after that we’ll see.

@SsbmGinger I’ve wondered how melee would be if grab did not exist. Feels like it could be fun imo especially if shield size or shield damage was increased slightly as well to balance it out. Removes chain grabbing, repeated RTC, wobbling, lots of really strong confirms.

I don’t entertain most Melee hypotheticals, but I keep thinking recently that Melee would be a better game (Falco bias for sure I recognize that) if you couldn’t grab anyone out of the air unless they were in hitstun

@JasonRusty1 Crazy clip but I think the monumental moment of abate VS S2J for the best luigi runs/wins of all time + sheer shock + in depth development of ICG research after that set is probably better imo. As for intentional/offensive clips though this one is certainly up there.

@Rap1238727 Such a great player showing Luigi’s still got it even against some of the best of the best. Seeing all the progress not just you but all the Luigi’s in the discord have been making is so incredible. If I were to return the only reason is because all of you guys are wonderful.

There I am. Ranked number 30. If you were to tell me 6 years ago back in middle school that I would drop Ultimate for another smash game, my ass would not believe you. I can’t believe I was able to be ranked this year cause all I wanted was to go out of region for other majors-

After a month of practice with new skips and a new route that were found during my sms sub 1:20 grind, I have gotten the world’s first sub 1 hour RTA for eclipse any%! A lot was also found for 240 during that time so my next grind is 240 for WR! (it was taken from me)

My first goal for Mario eclipse 100% was sub 6 RTA. My last run did that but i felt like it could be majorly improved so i set my sights on sub 5:30 IGT. Tonight I got a sub 5:25. Next grind is going to be sub 1 hour RTA for eclipse any% and then I'll try my hand at SMS.

Reached my goal of sub 6 RTA for Super Mario Eclipse's 100% speedrun! But this run had 10+ min of time loss in 2 splits alone. If i save a little more then that cleaning up those 2 mistakes, I'll have sub 5:30 IGT (In Game Time) which is my new goal.

Forgot to mention it but i got the 100% completion Super Mario Eclipse WR! not only that but I lowered that time tonight by almost 45 min tonight as well! Next goal is sub 6:10 since there were still a handful of mistakes then after i might do more or run any% again. we'll see.

Not only am I the first person to have gotten sub hour IGT in Super Mario Eclipse any%. I am currently the only person to have sub hour IGT for all 3 characters! My next 2 big projects are grinding for sub hour RTA and beating a floor is electricity mod that recently came out!

@SunnySaigons Yeah I’d mainly agree with that, just recently I’ve been enjoying speedrunning way more compared to melee. Still might come back eventually but for the time being I don’t have any plans to come back.

Started speedrunning a new SMS mod called super mario eclipse. Got the first Sub 1 hour IGT yesterday! Next goal is to get the first sub hour with the alternate any % route using an unlockable character! Also shoutouts to the devs for creating such a fantastic mod.

Just wanted to shoutout and thank @FryxGames for allowing me to make a custom board with the @thegamecrafter. it’s been by far one of our best additions to our self made custom sets. Simply wanted to show off the work TheGameCrafter has done and how awesome it is. Thanks again.

@aman601 No it wasn’t that, that tournament was actually the time I came off a break to see if competing made me feel any different. Before that I still hadn’t played for months trying to reset my mentality/feelings.

Hey, this has taken me some time however I am retiring from melee. For a while now the way the meta has been evolving has been in a way I don’t find enjoyable. It’s not a bad thing I think it’s just not for me at the moment. TL:DR retired and thank you to everyone.

But for the time being I’m moving on to focus on other passion projects I’ve been enjoying way more in the mean time. Finally I just want to thank everyone again for the wonderful time that I’ve had with this beautiful game.

Simply hearing people say they were inspired or got into melee/playing Luigi in part because of me is all I could have ever asked for. That support especially in person at tournaments will always be some of what I’m most fond of.
