@Tess_Terrible @wnpr Tess I remember you moving to CT and we wanted to meet up to welcome you to CT .... then: pandemic 🦠. Hopefully we can finally do that rain check soon (1.5 years later 😂).

Y'all. It's been a VERY memorable first year working in news media. So grateful for my team at @wnpr 💜📻

1 year ago @Tess_Terrible had her first day w/ the @wherewelive team after moving to CT. New jobs have a 3 mth probationary period. Tess' new job came w/ a pandemic! But she still produced memorable shows & has the best gifs on slack:) Looking forward to the next year, Tess! 💕

Honored to be among a handful of women at @CommonwealthFN for this council. Goal is to hold CFN and the financial services industry accountable to their commitment of diversity and bringing more women into finance!

The U.S. Census Bureau will end its counting efforts early later this month, and in many of Connecticut’s large cities, about half the residents didn't self-respond to the survey. Today, we talk about what’s at stake in getting an accurate head count. wnpr.org/post/early-cen…

@wherewelive @wnpr I’m so glad for this episode. We were just saying how sad our Polish grandmas are about not being able to host Easter!

Say it louder for the people in the back 👏 👏 👏 no one knows when “the bottom” will be. Remain in-line with your investment plan/ risk tolerance, know regardless of the bottom you’re still buying at a cheaper price, pick an entry point, get in, move on.
Douglas A. Boneparth@dougboneparth

buying the dip requires: • knowing what you can afford to do • being comfortable with more risk • having a defined entry point • living with your decision • moving on from it

In October 1962, the Dow dropped ~7% on the threat of thermonuclear annihilation. Today, the Dow dropped ~8% on the threat of a nasty virus and cheap oil.

@wherewelive @wnpr I heard that many people don’t even show symptoms (especially kids). So what should we do about finding those cases ? They can spread the virus and may not even know it.

@wherewelive @StephanieCoontz @MeghanFreed For example: to keep your family home, you may be giving up another account of equal value. What are the financial consequences of keeping one asset over another ? Today the assets may be of equal value, but what about future value, taxes, impact on goals, liquidity.
