Decent result but it’s not over. Can’t forget 2004 when they knocked us out of Champions League at home in the semis. Even Wayne flaming Bridge scored #CHEARS
@DGoughie 2006 Perth 3rd day, sat down at the WACA with my son Simon. Told him it had taken me 46 years to watch the Ashes down under and here he was doing it aged 15.
Ashes week always brings back memories of days like this sun beating down, crowd buzzing, and the stumps cartwheeling ;) Who’s ready for another chapter? 🏏🔥

@London_W4 Used to go past it back in the 60’s on our way to visit family. Us three kids would sit cowering in the back of my Dad’s old Vauxhall Cresta. We thought the Krays were going to come out and get us.
And now I’m here at The Blind Beggar pub in Whitechapel, London. Made infamous by one of the Krays stabbing someone to death here in the 60s. Luckily, we’ve moved on from that sort of thing now.
@SanchezWoppo@FBAwayDays My understanding was that calling for the ball from a team mate name not necessarily required, but calling to an opponent, on the blindside, to “leave it” is a clear infringement and definite ungentlemanly conduct.
@markbabbage@FBAwayDays There’s no requirement to use a name, that’s a myth that stubbornly refuses to go away.
It’s only an offence if done deliberately to distract an opponent (as in this case).
So yesterday we laid our dad to rest, a massive Evertonian,
Duncan ferguson made a video tribute to my dad which we were all made up with… however as we arrived at the crematorium there was someone who stood out in the crowd… Big Dunc had come in person to pay his respects.💙
@russafc Sorting through a draw of old stuff recently and here it was, a reminder of watching that ball sail over Seaman into our net. Weirdly I thought at the time, as he it, this is going in.
@OldBaldGooner My Dad had always been Arsenal, so was his Dad. Came from Lea Bridge Road area. He took me to Highbury 16th September 1967 for my first game, we beat spurs 4-0 in front of 64,000. I was 7 and I turned 65 yesterday.
I'm 61 in September, and I've supported Arsenal for 47 years. Never once have I thought about supporting another club. Never. Ever.
How about you? How long has it been?
“Tamworth’s dressing room is barely a cabin, is this gonna be a shock to your multi million pound players?”
What an awful question😂
A great answer from Ange as well👏👏👏
@GMixture These things tend to come round full circle, I’ve watched football long enough to know that. Whether it’s us or you in the ascendancy at any given time you just have to enjoy it while you can Gary.
Latest purchase for the Mixture football library (now totalling around 200 books).
Hoping to be able to pass on a few tips to Big Ange but praying even more that he doesn't need them. 😁
