He’s one of our greatest players, providing 8 seasons of unbelievable consistency. His first bad spell because he’s been told to hug the touchline like he’s 24, and a bunch of ungrateful clackers blame him for our shit season. The fans eulogising are balancing out those wankers.
SAM G-W@OneSGW

It’s mad when Salah scores a goal or does something good, the eulogising kicks in. Same can’t be said for all of the team. Salah & Ekitike were wasteful first half and had a 15 minute spell of being great. A level of balance & consistency has to be applied

Salah when he’s done with his career rank as the greatest player ever in EPL only behind Henry, and it’s because like Salah Henry dominated eras, No one has done it like Salah and in a long time we won’t see someone else to do it like him because what Mohamed Salah has done isn’t just about numbers it’s about sustained dominance in the most competitive era the Premier League has ever seen. Season after season, different managers, tactical shifts, evolving squads and yet Salah remains the constant. Goals, assists, chance creation, availability… he doesn’t dip. That level of consistency over such a long period is what separates great players from era-defining legends. When you look at Henry, it wasn’t just that he was the best it was how far ahead he was of everyone else at his peak. Salah has replicated that feeling in a different way. Maybe not always as aesthetically dominant, but in terms of output and influence, he’s been the reference point of the league for years. This is a player who arrived and immediately broke the league’s goal record in a 38-game season not slowly adapting, not needing years he set the tone from day one. And instead of that being his peak, it became his standard. Then you add the weight of what he delivered at Liverpool FC ending a 30-year wait for a league title, bringing the UEFA Champions League back to the club, adding the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup and not as a background figure, but as the face of it all. Individually, the game kept recognising him because it had no choice. (4) Premier League Golden Boots, PFA Players’ Player of the Year, FWA Footballer of the Year, (2) playmaker not one-off moments, but repeated acknowledgement that he was that guy in the league. And the key thing is, Salah didn’t have a short window. He stretched it. Different title races, different tactical systems, new teammates coming in, others declining and somehow he stayed at the centre of it all. Goals every season. Assists every season. Decisive moments every season. You can’t tell the story of modern Premier League football without him. You can’t explain Liverpool’s golden era without him. You can’t define consistency at the highest level without mentioning him. And for a long time after him, that kind of inevitability won’t come around again. He’s top 2 Greatest ever in Premier league.

Salah has 10 goals and 9 assists this season. After a decade of absolute brilliance for Roma and Liverpool, he's having a bad season. BUT, 19 goal contributions still beats 13 from Cunha, 13 from Mbeumo, 5 from Diallo AND 11 from Sesko. So, how about sit down and shut up.

Notice how they pull Salah down, because if they don’t, he’s the greatest player in England ahead of the likes of Rooney but they keep watering him down. Mohamed Salah has done things in the Premier League that very few players in history can match. Multiple Golden Boots(4) and (2) playmaker award, record-breaking debut season, consistent 20+ goal campaigns from a wide position, and decisive contributions in title-winning and Champions League-winning teams with Liverpool. But instead of acknowledging that level of dominance, the conversation always shifts “system player,” “just a winger,” “not complete,” anything to avoid placing him where he truly belongs. Because once you’re honest about Salah’s output and consistency, the debate becomes uncomfortable for a lot of people. Now compare that to Wayne Rooney an all-time great, yes but Salah has outperformed him individually in the league. More consistent goal output, more Golden Boots, more seasons where he was clearly the best attacking player in England. Salah is stacking an all-time Premier League legacy in real time. And this is where nostalgia comes in again. People are more comfortable protecting the legacies of past players than updating the hierarchy based on what’s actually happening on the pitch. Because if you strip away sentiment and look at performance, impact, and consistency, Salah isn’t just in the conversation… He’s leading it. It’s why you get this kind of conversation of Mane is better, just so to avoid putting Salah where he belongs

Probably his last season at the club, but he’s one of the best to ever wear the red shirt. We wouldn’t have won a bean without him. I can’t even be angry at his performances he’s played every game, 90 minutes, for 9 years straight for Liverpool and that's a testament to him.

There’s a girl on Tik Tok who is complaining that a man is flying a drone in a no fly zone around their apartment buildings like getting it close to the opposite apartments windows etc and you’ll never guess who it is. 😂😂 I’ll share the video and you can guess in the replies…

Exactly 25 years ago today, I scored my first — and only — professional goal. Contrary to what I believed at the time, goalkeepers are not allowed to handle the ball in both penalty areas. The goal was disallowed and I was sent off — still it earned me legendary status. 😉 #otd
