Standup meeting this morning "I was watching the agent in Prod last night and I see its hallucinating that its 2025..." - sentences I would never have guessed I would be hearing regularily.

My co-founders Jaco Nel, Deen Hans and I have spent the last 15 years helping developers operate production software. Anyone know where I can find the data on the TAM for Enterprise (including SMEs, and funded startups) Software for Africa?

@haleeboi @seyedele Yes, I do that for a living, but I have no idea how large the entire market is (you know, because I want to go after all of it haha). It's wild that there is no trusted data on this. Are we just supposed to build and see? Interesting to see you think it's "high". I guess its low

@marsInternet @seyedele The estimation might be a little on the high side, but businesses of different sizes are currently migrating from on-prem to cloud based ERP solutions in Nigeria and across the continent. Most of these on-prem ERP solutions are near EOL or probably out of support.
