No veo cómo hacer esas 3 cosas cambia mucho.

@GUYFROMJERSEY42 @fabienprevots @milfhunter_1968 @grok For exactly the same reason you didn't move on, simply letting people ask. You asked, just like they asked. You're welcome.
English

@fabienprevots @milfhunter_1968 @grok Serious question, why are people so interested in “getting it” when they’re clearly not the intended audience instead of just scrolling on?

@IntuitMachine Could this theory be a conspiratory theory? I'm attracted to it!
English

Everyone "knows" that conspiracy theorists are just misinformed or uneducated.
But a massive review of the psychological literature suggests we’ve got it wrong.
It’s not about IQ. It’s about Ego.
Here is the science of why Narcissists can't resist a conspiracy theory. 🧵
Research consistently shows that the "Big Five" personality traits (like openness or conscientiousness) are actually weak predictors of conspiracy beliefs.
But there is one trait that predicts it reliably: Narcissism.
Specifically, a conviction of superiority and entitlement.
But why? Why does thinking you're better than everyone else make you believe the Earth is flat or that birds are government drones?
Researchers Cichocka, Marchlewska, and Biddlestone broke it down into 3 specific components.
Component #1: The Need for Uniqueness.
This is the "Agentic Extravert" narcissist. They crave admiration.
Conspiracy theories are like catnip to them because they offer "privileged information."
Believing the theory makes them feel like the "smartest person in the room."
It’s a shortcut to feeling special.
If you believe what everyone else believes, you're just... normal.
But if you "know the truth" that the "sheeple" are ignoring? Suddenly, you are elite. You are unique.
Component #2: Paranoia.
This hits the "Antagonistic" and "Neurotic" narcissists.
They already believe people are malicious and "out to get them" personally.
It’s a tiny mental hop from "my boss is plotting against me" to "the government is plotting against society."
Component #3: The Need for Control (and Scapegoating).
Narcissists have fragile egos. They hate failure.
Conspiracy theories provide a perfect external enemy to blame for life's misfortunes.
"I didn't fail because I messed up. I failed because They rigged the system."
But here is the wildest paradox in the data.
Narcissists usually rate their own intelligence very high. They think they are critical thinkers.
But the research shows they are actually "cognitive misers."
They are surprisingly gullible.
Because they are so focused on their own intuition and so suspicious of established facts, they often fail to fact-check the things that confirm their bias.
Their arrogance makes them easy to manipulate.
This isn't just about individuals. It happens to groups too.
"Collective Narcissism"—the belief that my nation is exceptional but disrespected—predicts belief in outgroup conspiracies.
It’s why political leaders use conspiracies to rally support when they feel threatened.
So next time you're arguing with a conspiracy theorist, remember:
You aren't fighting a lack of information. You are fighting a need for validation.
Facts rarely fix a fragile ego.

Best Dish in the World for 2026: Vori Vori (Paraguay 🇵🇾)
Full ranking: tasteatlas.com/best
Vori vori, the iconic Paraguayan chicken soup with cheese-filled cornmeal dumplings, has been crowned the #1 Best Dish in the World 2025/26 on TasteAtlas.
It achieved the highest average rating of 4.64/5 based on 453,720 valid user ratings for 11,781 dishes - counted only from users who have actually tried the dish. The ranking is powered by algorithms that rigorously filter out bots and nationalist voting brigades, ensuring pure democratic math: no jury, no magic.
Rooted in Guaraní culinary tradition, vori vori stands out as one of the few soups in the region that uses dense, cheese-enriched cornmeal balls instead of noodles or vegetables.
