What a fantastic finale to our Heads Conference! 🌟 After lunch and a stroll through @TheGroveHotel 's beautiful grounds, we explored AI Unlocked with @mberry . His insights into leading with AI to transform education left us inspired for the future.

A delight to host visits from @mberry and @rondelle10_b interviewing for guidance on safe and effective use in education, they were very impressed with the school @PutteridgeHSch and Miles Berry even called in to speak to a year 10 CS class @Mr_S_James @TrudiBarrow @ChilternLT

Year 7 welcomed Miles Berry @mberry, Professor of Computing Education @RoehamptonUni, to discuss the uses & implications of AI. The lively discussion included the ethics of using AI for homework, how AI perpetuates bias, and why thinking for yourself is essential for learning.

We had our Year 6 Open Evening tonight at Michaela. We normally have only nearby inner-city families visiting. Tonight, there were LOADS of private school kids from far. So bizarre. We are seeing the effect of VAT costs to private schools in real time.

@shirky17 @smartinez I used inkskitch with @roehamtponedu trainees last year from @turtlestitch - it was a little clunky but it worked! Should be fine for SVG, but bitmaps will be a bit harder…

re: images for embroidery machine how do you convert a png/jpg/svg to be used on a Brother PE800 ?? is there a free software? one search said inkstitch extension for inkscape #MakerSpace

On way to @RoehamptonUni for ITT Mentor training, had pleasure of walking to station with number 2 son.
