I think the ideal WNBA calendar would be mid-February to late August?
From what I've heard the plans currently are to push back the end of season, although other sports are changing their calendars to avoid competing with football...

if the WNBA is going to expand to 50+ games they need to extend the calendar imo. there are conflicts depending which direction it gets extended, but I think it's best for the league and player health

But it's basically 4x.

Pretty sure this is only on the players side.
Ownership and the Board of Governors haven't met yet. The players were largely expected to sign. But at least we'll get see more of the fine print.

Just wanted to clarify this: The three-year extension would kick in after the rookie contract ends. So in Caitlin Clark's case, she could be under contract with the Fever through 2030.
